Why would we be thankful? We must admit that we have struggled over the last few years to be thankful as a people. We have seen a worldwide pandemic, political unrest, civil unrest. We have felt this personally, some of us didn’t get to see family last year, didn’t travel, didn’t do much of anything. Even more so, some lost loved ones, some had great failings and experienced great pain. So why be thankful?

Our thanksgiving doesn’t come from our circumstances but it comes from knowing and experiencing God. You see, thanksgiving is a reminder of what God has done for us, who He is, and hope for things to come.
