Meditations on the Cross
5 messages
Many people around the world find things to admire about Jesus: a great teacher, a great leader, a great example. But many also have a problem with the Christ of the Cross. It is troublesome and gruesome. It makes us think about suffering and blood. Instead of conquering and winning, it is weakness and losing. It might seem foolish, but it turns out to be God’s plan to erase the separation between a righteous and holy God and sinful people.
As we prepare ourselves for Resurrection Sunday, we’re spending the next few weeks meditating on the Cross.
