    Thankful

    Do you thank God in all circumstances? Can you thank Him when things are up and also thank and trust Him when things aren’t? It’s easy to be grateful in prosperity, but what of the storm? We need a heart set on gratitude, mind intent on giving God His due praise.

    In Psalm 100, the psalmist instructs all people to offer thanksgiving to the Lord for He is good, eternally loving and He is faithful. We too can offer thanksgiving to the Lord.

    A Psalm for the Depressed

    Have you ever felt depressed? The word “depression” means something a little different to everyone. It’s something that we all go through. You know the feeling when you hear the word. The interesting thing about it is: although you understand exactly what it means, the person next to you understands it in a completely different way.

    In Psalm 130, the Psalmist brought his depression to the Lord for relief. We can bring our depression to the Lord for relief.
